We recently did a photo shoot with Ashley Gain at the Valley Ho. The photos turned out beautiful! The very talented Stephanie Fay was there to capture all the details.

When you see the end result everything looks stunning and perfect, what you don’t see is all the behind the scenes planning.
The day usually, for us, starts very early.
We get to the studio and finish off the last of the detail items, making sure we have some back up product because we will always need to replace or make something impromptu.
This day started off cold, I think the outside temperature was is the low 40′s, this was the temperature inside the studio.
Yes I know all you mid west and east coast people are saying waaaaaaaaaaa! but just as there is a “dry heat”, there is also a dry cold!
So once we got to the Valley Ho we realized that our birch plexiglass card display was going to become an issue.
Not only was it cold but the rain showed up. Not a good combination when you are using suction cups to hang the engraved, metallic name cards provided by Rene with Celebrations In Paper. 
I am sure it was quite a site to see us using our breath to try to warm the suction cups up so we could get the photo before they all lost connection with the plexiglass.
Any one in the event industry knows what the wind will do to those paper name cards you have just lined up all perfect. Yes we had wind also, the shoot was full of obstacles and small mishaps but in the end you can see it turned out fantastic!
Tamara entered the Mayesh national design contest and won 1st place for the local design and is now competing against 15 designs from around the US.
